Terms of Service

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the AILightStudio.com platform (hereinafter "Platform" or "Service") by you (hereinafter "User"). The operator of the platform is AILight Studio (hereinafter "we" or "us"). By registering and using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

AILight Studio is an online platform that enables users to create videos from text inputs ("Prompts") and uploaded images using artificial intelligence (specifically Google Veo models). The range of functions may vary depending on the selected subscription plan.

3. Registration and User Account

The use of the core functions requires the creation of a user account. You are obliged to provide truthful and complete information during registration. You are responsible for the security of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Usage Rights and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the texts you enter and images you upload ("User Content"). However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

Generated Videos: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a comprehensive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the videos you generate for any private or commercial purpose. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the videos does not infringe on the rights of third parties or applicable law.

Our Content: The platform itself, including software, design, and texts, is our intellectual property and is protected by copyright.

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to create content that:

  • violates applicable law, is illegal, defamatory, hateful, abusive, obscene, or discriminatory.
  • infringes on the rights of third parties (especially copyright, trademark, or personal rights).
  • contains harmful code, viruses, or malware.
  • constitutes misinformation or "fake news".
  • depicts faces of individuals without their consent in a manner that could be misleading or harmful.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules and to suspend user accounts.

6. Fees and Payment

Use of the Service may be subject to a fee. Current prices and plans are available on our pricing page. Payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service. The content generated by artificial intelligence can be unpredictable and erroneous. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Service, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. We will inform you of significant changes via email or a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the Service after such a change constitutes your consent to the new Terms.

9. Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The law of switzerland shall apply. The place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permissible, is Baden AG.
